www.nytheatre.com and broadway.com nailed it on the head.
Check out those reviews.

i saw the a few of the original presentations and saw the concert last year. this show is such a carbon copy of les mis
(music wise) it's not even funny.

of story out of any character except for Sydney Carton. J. Barbour is impressive, and i know that Cheyene will bring his considerable talents to the production, but one wonders about all this money raised for this production 14 million at least....

I should state that i am a HUGE fan of the movie, and although

the performances of the leads. John Lithgow's character must

It seems painfully obvious that you have some bad memories
from your Dr. Sex experience...maybe you need to get some?
So, now i'll take over as the MORE qualified person to respond
to you... your production was over 2 years ago, and
now the show has been rewritten, book and music.
There is no doubt that Dr. Sex is a romp, but it has
also become....very unbeknownst to you...a show about love
and the telling story of a pione
