As I read the comments on the show, it sounds like George M! set in a nightclub with quick one or two line bio bits between a song repertory. Isn't this really more nightclub than musical theatre?

Well one obvious reason why is some people like a live experience more than just watching a movie, particularly when it is

I'd also love to see her in Other Desert Cities or Clybourne Park should either of those get a revival.

John Krasinski Off-Broadway in “Angry Alan”

I don't disagree with the overall sentiment here, but "the 1%" has to be one of the more frequently used terms that has lost its precise meaning.

The 1% in this country are ridiculously wealthy.  These ticket prices are easily affordable for many in the top 10-20% who still have significant wealth.

What Rudin did is well known in the industry.  Moving forward, individuals will be making choices based on what is known.  People have personal agency.,  They can choose whether or no to:

  • invest with him
  • appear in his shows
  • work in his office
  • collaborate with him
  • provide services to him and his shows
  • attend shows he produces

Some of you here seem to think you should get to make these decisions for others.  Good
