I was so excited when talk of JCM stepping in was swirling. I honestly have no desire to see a cis woman in the role - it would be like Glenn Close playing a Charles Busch role. Could she do it and do it well? Absolutely. Does it change the show with a cis woman? Also, abs

I'm super curious -- this is being billed as a "folk thriller", but I can't see anything more due to the paywall; is it an all new story or a retelling of "The Turn of the Screw" (or something similar)?
Also, are we really at that place where we're censoring someone's name just because the middle four letters are verboten?! Context matters -- it's not used in any bad way; not to mention, it's someone's damn name.

This. And then some. Simple solution -- don't watch it, if you don't want to. But leave others to their entertainment.

Um...then they might want to tell the producers of The Picture of Dorian Gray, as that production is already selling tickets for their opening at The Music Box.

Yeah, it's some 200 years old -- and was the original home of what become the National Theatre. And Matthew Warchus, Kevin Spacey, and Sir Peter Hall were all ADs.

And just have to say...Jonathan Bailey with that (albeit CGI) lion cub...swoon!

This, 100%. I'm pretty savvy, but their new interface really isn't conducive for future programming. I can't find any future listings -- under the general PBS or my local station.

Sure, but in all fairness, The Devil Wears Prada will have had two additional runs from its initial outting in Chicago -- a greatly reworked production in Plymouth, UK and it's upcoming West End run. Not quite the same as opening cold on Broadway after a small, Off-West End run.
