We went to see the show last Saturday Night~ We had a blast and I agree the cast is extremely talented. Loved the songs and the story line was hilarious! My sister and Mom enjoyed it just as much as I did~ Sue

The reason I am asking is because I have never been to this theater and it looks like anywhere in the left or right orchestra you will not be able to see the stage~ Is that correct? Sue

re: Which show for Christmas ?? Aug 26
2005, 08:38:47 PM
Last few shows we saw with the kids: La Cage, Lennon (my son only not the other two kids), Brooklyn( my son only~ not the other two kids) Wicked, Hairspray: My sons Favorite of the last few were La Cage and Brooklyn~ He didn't care for Lennon~ He didn't like the switching of characters playing Lennon and he didn't feel the cast was that musically talented~ However he did enjoy the "3" songs particularly the opening and closing songs~ And like everything we see~ Nothing is ever a waste of time p

I take my son to the theater a lot~ Since he was 5 years old~ His first show was the Lion King~ I think?? besides Radio City Christmas show. He has seen at least 20 shows~ I always let him bring at least one friend~ Uusally more~ When we went to see Brooklyn the writer of the show was hanging out and he was very excited to see the kids there~ He waited for us after the show and asked the kids for their opinions~ I thought that was very nice~ He also signed some autographs. Brooklyn The Musical Nov 13
2004, 08:51:22 PM
I just saw Brooklyn last night and I thought the show was great! I took my 13 year old son and he loved it also. He thought it was funny and sad and he thought the vocals were outstanding. I share his opinion. I thought the cast did a wonderful job and I did not have a hard time following the story line at all and neither did my son~ Did I mention he was 13?? I read the critic reviews and frankly I think they are a bit snobbish and totally narrowminded~ It was not a flashy, broadway production
