re: Piven Comments On 'Speeding' from SPEED at Golden Globes Jan 12

I used to love Piven, but this stunt he pulled certainly lowered what I thought of him. He's still a good actor, but this year I glad that he didn't win the globe for which he was nominated. I can't believe he had the nerve to show up to this event. And I still find it ridiculous that he couldn't stick around the show for one more week to help it recoup it's investment since he was name that was really helping to sell the tickets. What a prick. No one on Broadway is going to l

Beautifully spoken. Those are some of the best and truest words that I've ever head about theater. I love that woman.

The amount of ignorant Americans never ceases to amaze me. There are also plenty of men that support Palin because she is "hot."

re: Movie soundtracks you liked better than cast recordings Jul 30

I also agree about the Rocky Horror film soundtrack being better. I like the the arrangements of the film version of RENT much better (they rock harder), but I hate how computerized the soundtrack sounds (Rosario's voice sound so digitized). It drives me nuts.

re: MTV remaking Rocky Horror Jul 24

What scares is not so much that they are remaking - because frankly, everything seems to be getting remade these days - but that idea that they might make a poor remake. The possibly terrible casting that might go into this remake by MTV makes me shutter. MTV does not knowing what real singing sounds like, or what real acting looks like. And if they turn this into a reality show to help cast it...then so help me. That would be awful.

Best: Xanadu & Gypsy Worst: Grease, and current cast of RENT doing their bit of LVB (that was awful, I wish only the original cast would have sang).

The current cast of RENT should not have been allowed to sing. They were awful (except for Will Chase and Eden). The originals made me cry, though. Was that Bob Saget I saw in the audience?

I can't believe that Laura's sweet speech is being followed up by frickin' Grease. Talk about killing a wonderful moment.
