Songs For the Play Me and my Best Friend are writing?

So next year, my school's drama club might shut down so my best friend and I decided to write a play that we could put on that wouldn't require too much funding so drama club won't be shut down. Anyways, it's a modernized version of Cinderella, Aladdin, and Beauty and the Beast combined- all put into a high school scenario. We're writing the actual plays, but borrowing songs from different musicals that fit different scenes. No songs from the actual Cinderella, Aladdin, or Beauty and the Beast.

The girl everyone loves to hate- I know, but Amber is one of my favorite broadway characters and I was wondering if there were any similar characters out there that I hadn't heard of so if you know any comment!

I get stereotypes are bad or whatever, but I love stereotypical blonde broadway characters (Galinda from Wicked, Elle from Legally Blonde, Amber from Hairspray, etc.) Are there any similar other characters from other musicals?

Although many people aren't, I'm a fan of Jekyll and Hyde. Lucy is my favorite character and my voice is perfect for all her songs, but I was wondering if there were any similar musicals with songs similar to A New Life, Bring On the Men, Someone Like You, No One Knows Who I Am, etc.
