It was so frustrating (and confusing?) to have that be in the same show as Carmen Cusack signing the title number as well as How. Both were stunning moments. A very uneven evening, but still <

I don’t think New Yorkers are the ones booking hotels… unless you’re referring to tourists?
Anyway, look at any site for Manhattan hotels during a ran

It's being described as "darkly comedic", wonder how funny it will actually be considering the subject matter."
I saw a reading of it last year. The subject matter is obviously serious, but the comedic moments are situational and interspersed here and there to lighten the mood a bit. I won&rsqu

The 78th Annual Tony Award Nominations for 2025 May 16

He has Sam Mendes winning for best director of a play, which I don’t think a single person has predicted.

Adam Lambert Cabaret 1/22 Matinee Audience Behavior Jan 24

Perhaps people are calling him a Nazi because he’s supporting actual (neo) Nazis.

Anyway, this thread has derailed. I haven’t seen the current production, but I saw the roundabout version numerous times. On almost every occasion, at least one person audibly laughed after the line. It was definitely not a whole or even half the audience thing, though. However, the awkward silence that followed definitely seemed to make the folks who laughed feel uncomfortable.

Nick Jonas and Adrienne Warren to star in THE LAST FIVE YEARS Broadway Revival Jan 22

***slight spoiler???***
Jamie is usually shirtless in “Nobody needs to know,” (as per the original, revival, and movie) due to the plot implications of the scene.

I just won a Lottery for this Wednesday matinee at 2pm but I’m leary to claim the tickets because I don’t know if Ms. Moon’s will be playing.

Well, add me to the chorus of people who found this utterly and completely charming. It’s also visually stunning. I do fear that it won’t be able to find an audience, but I’ll keep my fingers crossed.

However, the tempi were SO slow. Songs were dragging like crazy. - I realize it’s a concert, and it’s Sondheim, but a TON of lines were dropped, cues missed, lyrics jumbled etc…
