Manhattan Concert Productions will present a concert performance of Children of Eden, for one-night-only in Lincoln Center’s newly renovated David Geffen Hall. This concert performance on February 18, 2024 at 8:00 pm will be led by Broadway veterans Tony Yazbeck (stage director) and Kimberly Grigsby (music director) and will feature a chorus of over 200 singers from across the United states, a star-studded cast and creative team, and the acclaimed New York City Chamber Orchestra.
The principal cast for this performance includes Auli’i Cravalho (Yonah), Nikki Renée Daniels (Eve), Jordan Fisher (Cain), Norm Lewis (Father), and Paul Alexander Nolan (Adam). Casting is by The Telsey Office/Craig Burns, CSA.

I wonder if they will keep the original doublings of Adam/Noah and Eve/Mama Noah?
That Chicago concert production never actually happened, right? Lewis was announced as Father in that, too."
It did with a whole different cast. Heard it was a bit of a mess though, but those producers were certain their production was "broadway bound"... in Chicago

As I said on the KARATE KID thread this morning...every show is bound for Broadway until suddenly one day it isn't
If this had a real director and producers attached (for either production), that would be one thing, but I can't put a ton of faith in these people sight unseen.
Jordan Fisher also gives me pause. Can't think off the top of my head who I might prefer, but LOST IN THE WILDERNESS slaps so hard and needs a guy who can sing the heck out of it.
Lost in the Wilderness is way more in his range than Johanna
What? Maybe if he doesn’t do the runs. Sorry, he doesn’t have the range. I’m sure he’s a nice guy, but he had poor attendance in this and his previous Broadway bow. Like Wayne Brady who has a similar history, I don’t understand why he’s become a go to.
Started seeing a **** ton of ads today and decided to check out the ticket prices...
3rd Tier $150-$105 for that far back???? Insane. Accessibility found in a ditch. I know it's Manhattan Concert Productions BUT STILL.
Will either wait to see if they go the LincTix available route or prices go down. A shame. I can't buy an advance ticket for this during the holiday sales season. I don't have extra expendable income, producers... RIP

To anyone who saw the previous concert staging, how was David Phelps as Father? I don't usually like his material, but the guy has the kind of voice that DOES make you believe in God. (However, his absolutely demented Christmas song about stalking Santa Claus is a must-hear.)
Black Friday sale available through November 27 for 25% off select seats with FLOOD25. It looks like the lowest price comes to $112.50 for center of the third tier or sides of the second tier. The lowest prices otherwise are $105 for obstructed view on the sides of the third tier.
