Wow wow wow...i saw friday night's preview performance of Rent at New world stages and was completely taken aback by Arianda Fernandez. Her stage presence is golden and i believe she is the only one since Daphne Rubin Vega to embody the character truly. "Out Tonight", has never been this good. Trust me. Her voice is so unique and beautiful, which sets her apart from the others who definitely oversang the part. I cannot say enough about her.

The rest of the cast is brilliant as well. A

Thank you, i just saw the video! I've got to see Hamlet in the park too, that's cool that they were at the opening. I wonder if the reading is the successful if they would transfer it to broadway? Is that a possibility?

I am very excited about the reading but i also have never been to Town Hall, does anyone know what that venue is like? Is it big or small? I from out of town so i have no clue i just moved to nyc...

My friend just got me tickets for 'Jesus Hopped the A train' the benefit reading on June 22nd and i've never been to a benefit reading so i was hoping that someone would tell what exactly benefit readings are like because i honestly cannot see how a production can be put on with scripts in the actor's hands....

I usually don't go online and write on message boards but i have to write about this play, "The Little flower of East Orange". I went last night with a friend who had tickets, to the Public theatre and the show was sold out. I have to mention Ellen Burstyn first because she truly is a dynamic force even when she's subtle and nuanced. Her presence just ignites the words and the story into action, it's great seeing her at this point in her career when she truly has become a virtuoso of her instru
