We did Wizard at the Sphere and then for the third time in 10 years, Ka at MGM Grand. There is no comparison. Ka is a thrilling theatrical experience in every respect. Wizard is a truncated version of the movie with fun 4D effects during the tornado and diminishing returns thereafter. I don’t see it being a repeat tourist experience at $100 a seat

Closing performance today I believe. We saw it Wednesday night. Everything about it is sensational and it fully deserves a long run on Broadway next to the highly entertaining Damn Yankees. But it ain’t your mama’s Psl Joey in any way, shape or form hence the appropriate name change

Easily one of the best shows we've seen in San Diego in the 6 years we've lived here. I hope they don't tinker with it too much as it was just about perfect at the La Jolla Playhouse. For whatever it's worth, it's quite different than 'Come From Away' -- the only resemblance is a single set and actors taking on multiple roles, but the scenic design is exceptional and the score is more memorable than 'Come From Away', IMHO.

We saw it last week before opening night. The Globe commissioned a platform translation upon which the new text was built. Holmes also had a movement coach, which I think led to excessive hand gestures but otherwise she was fine. The rest of the cast was stellar. My big problem with Hedda is that the motivation for her behavior and self-destruction was not made clear -- she was just on a rampage, which doesn't make for a great dramatic outing. But it's sorta worth seeing and is now a one act ...

I would add '3 Summers of Lincoln' to that list as it was far better than Working Girl. I'm surprised by Bedwetter, as that will have needed massive work after the Arena Stage showing. And really going out on a limb, how about Come Fall in Love, which was wonderful and has now played a few venues in the UK.

The program notes say they have been working in this for a decade or more. I agree it is a nothing burger and i think the creatives sensed that as well by using hyperactive video projections that often had little to do with show. Razzle dazzle ‘em may work for Kander and Ebb but not Lauper

Ashley should have taken the big win for ‘The Heart’ as Working Girl is as uninspired as they come. Poor book, awful lyrics,and a score where each song sounds like the other — but a game cast with the male lead (in a feminist show, go figure) being the standout. Save your money.

Pretty lavish production with a stellar cast of a very entertaining show. It’s sort about family dysfunction but told in a pretty light hearted manner. Just a fun evening , which is getting rarer these days

I went to purchase the Boop CD and no source has it available. Was anyone able to purchase a copy before it became ‘temporarily out of stock’ 3 days after its release?

Saw this last night. This is Bandwagon without Fred Astaire, Vicente Minnelli and the rest of the crew. Wonderful songs at the service of …? Not a terrible evening but pretty meh with an idiotic plot about an 11 time Tony winning director who suddenly can’t stand up to anyone or make a decision. Really? Boop was such a joyous experience and this is just a letdown

We are in town for 5 shows. Death Becomes Her was a real hoot. Maybe Happy Ending was lovely. But Boop tonight was pure musical theater heaven. Wonderful old fashioned score and 3 star making performances. Second act was perfect and while first act could use a bit of tightening, I don’t know when I’ve walked out of a theater lately with such a grin on my face. Go!

I like Stokes but his replacement is sensational and hit some notes that I’m not sure Stokes could hit anymore

Finally, a new musical that is truly innovative (albeit not completely),compelling and compelling entertaining. Any historical musical these days is going to evoke memories of Hamilton, which 3 Days can’t shake at times. But the cast is terrific, the choreography unique and the music fitting for the story. The lyrics are a weak link at times. However the opening is sensational and Lincoln’s final number is a barn burner. Director Ashley said at this 5th preview they are still reworking dialog...
