It was 'out of stock' the day of release. I bought mine on importcd. They have it on backorder now but they are pretty good at fulfillment. Good luck!

What a bummer
I was looking for these vinyl releases of cast recordings - i usually buy them when the prices drop a little
I understand it costs a lot to press vinyls but not sure about CDs - imho it should cost less and sell more

Thanks Carlos!! What a gift for linguistics. I am the not miserable , I guess I would be if I was a BOOP investor or someone invested in a studio recording of a flop.

Investing in a cast recording might be a bit of a long term game here. Lots of not that great shows have lives in licensing for secondary and amateur markets; many of the things that detract from BOOP as a whole (most of the subplots) might be quite a nice selling point to amateur casts wanting to cast broadly in terms of age and talent. The songs are pretty catchy, and although the Broadway production has lots of pizzazz and choreography it's the kind of thing I could see being a bit of a crowd pleaser to, frankly, less demanding audiences that are happy with a change of wash to symbolise colour versus black and white. If you've got a soundtrack out there, people will use it as a reference for their own production - it's a pretty major part of licensing.
Well, either that, or David Foster funds its production entirely from his own funds as he has probably got the cash to spare to produce an album.

I received my BOOP cd in the mail today and immediately played it in my car. Yes, a cd. I'm old school. The cover artwork and booklet are fabulous and of course the music is an absolute delight! Thrilled have it in my collection. Hope others received their copies. Happy BOOP!

I saw a bunch of excitement posts on Facebook and Instagram, mine is delayed a couple days.
Love that it was finally released - one person said they kept being asked if they still wanted the CD or get the digital download. I wasn’t crazy about Boop but I can’t help but support physical media.
