I went back to my playbills after reading this thread and I was surprised to see that I saw Aaron Tveit in Rent. It says he took leave from Ithaca College to do it too, it was his first national tour.

Personally, I think Christopher Fitzgerald would be great. After all he was the best thing about Young Frankenstein, and if the whole Minsky's thing doesn't work out...
Help deciding which shows to rush/lottery...

I'm heading to New York tomorrow night and I am already seeing Billy Elliot, Next to Normal, South Pacific, and Rock of Ages. However, I have time to rush two other shows and I can't make up my mind. The ones I'm interested in are In the Heights, Hair, Waiting for Godot, Blithe Spirit, August: Osage County, and The 39 Steps. Which shows do I have the best chance at getting into?

Maybe they will make use of Sutton's dancing ability in more than one song.

I live in Oregon and I'm hoping i get back up to see it again before it closes at the fifth avenue theater.

They are really making some drastic changes and I hope they can make it succeed on broadway.

At the talkback session someone told kecia they wished there was more dragon puppet. She wasn't too happy. Someone also told Chester he was a Brilliant 'Eddie Murphy impersonation' she meant it positively but you could tell he wasn't very happy.

I saw Shrek the Musical for the first time last night. Apparently a lot of things have changed after reading about it. Two of the original demo songs are no longer in the show: "I Could Get Used to This" and "The Wall", both have been replaced by other numbers.

Donkey now sings "I Won't Let You Go" a slower, more soulful song. I personally think the original song is better, however I never saw it performed on stage. "The Wall" is now replaced with a more optimistic song for shrek to

Does anyone know if the blacony causes a restricted view of the stage for the floor seats underneath it?
