re: The Billy Elliot Love Thread Dec 29

I totally agree with sking and rsuttini, David is the best at acting, and this is what THEATER is all about at the end of day: ACTING (not mentioning his classical ballet skills which are unsurpassed). svg123 and Billy Whiz, just because there are people who love David doesn't mean that they can't express their love for the show through their love for David in this particular thread. Just think that some people, like me, get really annoyed by your corny and tacky opinions. Dav

Whoever understands acting, and moreover classical ballet, would prefer David. Of course, if you don't mind a latino or a black actor playing a British lad. svg123: It was YOU saying that David should go first because he's taller and has a deeper voice. I just said that Kiril is the tallest of the three boys, and that unlike Kiril, David has a masculine voice.

Because according to the people at Billy he's been the one giving out the best performances, and the Tonys nominate and eventually award THE best performance - this is where he debate is right now...

You see what I mean? kdek004, ray-andallthatjazz86, WiCkEDrOcKS, and Mamie – you all agree!!! You are all related to either Kiril or Trent. I didn’t speak about any of Trent’s show. I saw one, and yes, he got standing O. But definitely, Kiril did not get standing O this last Saturday night. I was there. It’s a lie. I don’t have a crash on David Alvarez – the cast, the production team, Broadway, we all have a crash on David. Like it or not, this boy is going to stay for long t

I was at the same show you were, and again, you are a liar because there was no standing ovation on that Kiril's show. Maybe it was just in your dreams.............

Hi Kate: Yesterday matinee was the third time that I saw David Alvarez. I have also seen Trent Kowalik and Kiril Kulish. I suggest you to go and see your professor's son; David's acting skills are unsurpassed. While their dancing is more or less similar (altough David's level in classical ballet is the highest), his acting is what everyone in the casting and Broadway is talking about. Just don't get fooled by this forum, which is full of Kiril's and Trent's family. Ask anyone professional o

WiCkEDrOcKS: How are you such a liar? Why are you mis-informating? Who's tripping you? Yesterday's evening has been one the worst shows during the preview as far as Kiril is concerned. Kiril, who was extremely flat, lacked all types of emotions, and looked as if he was on pain or something, did not receive any standing ovation. The audience, including me, was very disappointed yesterday night.

It is obvious that in this Bily Elliot's thread, we only have the families of Trent and Kiril participating!!!!!! It's sooooo funny!! Anyways, only the 11th and 12th are the nights for the press. The 13th is not a press night. This information is confirmed. Another thing: there will be surprises as to which Billy will perform on the press nights - he's already chosen!!!!!!!!

So, kdek004 and Drunk Chita Rivera went to see Kiril last night? What a coincidence? I guess you tried to see Trent, right? So, I don't know exactly the nature of Trent's injury, but he was banned from performing until next week due to something with his body - that's all I heard.

re: 'Best Billy' to see? Oct 24

I saw the three boys during the first week of previews, and came back last night to see David Alvarez again. I can't say which of the three actors is better, but what I can say is that Alvarez has a impressive power on stage and the audience can perceive it. His dance may be excellent, but is his acting what drives everyone wild in the house. Yesterday, his Electricity received a vast ovation, people stopped applauding, and when David incorporated himself from his landing position, anot

I agree with LTinOregon. David Alvarez is a young actor to look at. Off stage, he is quiet, but when he is on stage, OMG, you can't take your eyes off him.....
