Saw the first act tonight. It was good to see Haydn back--hopefully in time for Tony voters/nominators (though I have seen some already at the show). She was good but had some hiccups here and there-- some of the choreography for her first song was a little modified and she needed one of the ballet girls' shoulders to steady herself as she got off of the lift after the song.

I could be very wrong but I think the Hudson is now associated with Disney. I was in it last year for a "secret" Alan Menken Cabaret for touring theaters. Tom Schumacher, who is in charge of Disney Theatricals (or something to that effect, not sure what his title is) talked last year about bringing Hunchback to Broadway. He also mentioned the Hudson being used as a Disney house. I was surprised as it is a little on the small side. It was a really nice theater though, big lobby, nice molding, pre

I work at the theater and I see the show 6 times a week. The rotation is loose and it's always interesting to see who plays Billy. I got to see Tommy's first performance and I was delighted to see how good of an actor he was. He really brought a youthfulness to the role. The only time I really noticed him faltering just a little was during the Angry dance. He didn't mess up the choreography or anything...he just wasn't throwing himself into it as the others do.
