If so, please post how he does.

Are we sure he's joining the rotation officially?

Not sure if he's joining the rotation, but he is going on tonight.

I sorta want him to join the rotation because I see the show on Friday and that would be his next performance considering there are three other shows between the show on Friday night. If that makes any sense? I show the show once before with Trent (and while he was incredible) I sort of want to see how the other Billy's portray the role. I really hope to see David again though as Michael! He was a riot!!!!!!! I'm in the last row of the balcony all the way to the left.... hopefully the seats will be decent.
Is the rotation by number or performances, as in every 3rd perf the same person goes on, or is it specific days of the week? I've seen the show twice with Kiril, once a Sat eve and once a Wed eve, and as much as I enjoyed it, I'm curious to see someone else in the role. If I weren't seeing Pal Joey tonight I might have gone just to see Tommy...

Is this the first than any of the leads have been out?

No, Haydn missed a couple of weeks ago I think.

Haydn was out a few weeks ago due to an ankle injury.
I don't know how different the roatation system is on Broadway to the West End but a friend of mine is one of the ballet girls in London, and she can go on up to 4times a week, sometimes going on for a matinee, evening and then the next evening. It all depends on the holidays of other cast memebers and absences etc. It's not as strict as every 4th performance.

They would never have one of the Billys do two shows in one day, or even shows on back to back nights.

David and Trent have done back to back shows already.

It is generally every third show, but as some people have pointed out, that sometimes doesn't happen. But it doesn't go by certain days of the week.
Not only was Tommy on tonight but all three of the Billys were in the audience watching him together.
It was announced before the show began that this would be the first performance for Tommy and that it was his Broadway debut and the audience was very receptive to him, which makes sense because he was excellent.
Debut? I mean, I understand its being his "debut" as "Billy," but I thought he was already in the show as the "Tall Boy" or something. Am I wrong?
She (the woman who came on stage and announced it) said "this is his Broadway debut".

No, Tommy was not in the show prior to tonight.

My playbill from when I went definitely had him as being the Tall Boy...weird...

Keean(sp?)is the tall boy.

Wait, I thought the other Billys weren't allowed to watch each other.
They weren't allowed...until now I guess. I overheard David say this would be his first time seeing the show and they sat together in the last row of the orchestra.

Oh, that's nice.
I just looked at my Playbill from November and then my Playbill from January 31, and it has him listed as "Tall Boy; Billy u/s."
He is listed as the tall boy, but isn't.

yeah, he is an u/s for both. Keanne is the "tall boy" and he is tall boy only in the opening and one other scene. He plays posh boy in 1 scene as well.
