re: Papermill announces the cast for Lost in Yonke

Well this is on a tour I believe- it is a co-production with two other theaters. So possibly "star" actors didn't want to be strapped down to one job for half the year.
re: What shows to see???

I would see either:

-Billy Elliot
-Next to Normal
-Wicked
-In the Heights
-West Side Story
-Shrek
-South Pacific

I do not know if this is true- heard it through a friend.
But, I heard a student from CCM is going to portray the role of Ariel come June

Allie Trimm portrayed the role of Patrice in Jason Robert Brown's 13 the musical on Broadway, and Ariana Grande also starred in 13 as Charlotte and Patrice U/S

Don't they look a little young to be in Birdie?
They were just 13..now 15?

Anyone know of another open call date, or EPA/equity chorus call date...because luckily i am an EMC. I decided I want to audition for a teen, but I will only be turning 15 in May. My manager isn't sending me in.

Thanks :)

re: Movies that could be Broadway musicals

Anastasia would be a great musical to go on Broadway.
Disney would benefit from: Mulan, Hercules and Hunchback of Notre Dame.

Thank you imatoofbrush..I have decided I don't think I'm right for this role as I look 11...and am 14.

My manager told me she was not going to submit or i wouldn't get called in- or something like that, and i'm not waiting at the cattle call.

thanks for all your help :)

To imatoofbrush:

How old did all of the Randolph hopefuls look.
10? 12? 8? 13? I am trying to get my manager to get me an audition.

thanks :)

Yes, I totally agree it's not worth my time.
Unless I get called in- I won't go in at this call.
I am 14, and my range is pretty wide- high tenor to soprano
Even though I am 14, most say I look 11. Randolph is 10. is it worth auditioning when they do call for him/ or if i'm called in?

Would you think it would be appropriate for a 14 year old boy, turning 15 in exactly a month to audition. (although he looks ALOT younger than he is). I was hoping to audition, as I would love to be Randolph.

Thanks, and information to help:
I am a boy soprano
