The absurdity of concession pricing in theatres is a legitimtate gripe, and part of the en****fication of the experience. From the ice clinking, the chip crunching, the candy bag shuffling, to random additions of popcorn and cotton candy, to the prices not be proportional to size, all of which being grubbed down by people that can't sustain themselves for two hours of theatre without bringing a smorgasboard back to the...

This was your first visit to a NY theatre Flash? And a full sippy cup of wine is more than $40, Flash. If you don’t like it, use the water fountain. And don’t look at concession prices at concerts and sporting events, Flash. It’s the same story.

Would the Tony for best revival really have amounted to much higher ticket numbers? We know it didn't help Sunset Boulevard or Company."It's not true in any cap...

Just go from the TT Grantziger scene;Rose rejecting his offer and causing a scene, June bemoaning her mother, and go right to the scene before Everything’s coming up Roses. All I Need is the girl is an old fashioned break for the audience song but it just stops the action as intended. "Ladies and gentleman, Flash is going to fix Gy...

This is a non union tour. Original creatives are often involved since it’s a replicated production using his original work reset by associates.

It’s a well directed, well performed show. The up and down is from audience members who come and go as they please. This isn’t your local community theaterShakespeare in the park, we’re not sitting on blankets and they shouldn’t allow people to leave whenever they feel like it. Lock the doors"There...

Fred Mason said: "I thought it started off strong, the “first act” overall was quite good. Unfortunately it falls apart after intermission and has a completely ridiculous ending. The performances were pretty good all around. The entire show had audience membersconstantly up and down. This should be banned because it’s a huge distraction when people are constantly moving around. Plus there were airplanes and helicopters hovering above. And an ambulance siren outside. And the sound of people ta...

It appears that digital rush and lottery is done for the run. What a huge disappointment for anyone who can’t camp out or spend $200+ a ticket for the last 2 weeks on Broadway.

I found Parsons annoying and not very funny. The broadness of Daniels’ portrayal is probably what the show needed to begin with on Broadway when trying to fill a bigger stage and a bigger house."Did you see the Broadway transfer?

It’s funny, the only major difference for me was in the portrayal of that role- Daniels portrayed it more as a risqué Edna Turnblad and Parsons was more of an Elaine Stritch. I found both performances equally funny, but with Parsons I was always aware I was watching a male celebrity in drag.Interesting observation, I don't care for Jim Parsons inanything so I'm glad I caught Russell downtown and maybe I wil...

Pink would be a huge get, I just hope the production lives up to her talents, and is able to get a great acting performance out of her. I’d certainly rather see Pink win the Tony than Rachel Zegler. Hell no. You can see pretty much the exact same concert production on tv for free, and the prices they are charging for any halfway decent seat to this thing are totally ridiculous.

It's in the musical vernacular of Sirius XM's The Spectrum, and I don't think Pink has a single peaceful-easy-feeling bone in her body."You think the Next to Normal score is country music...
