If the name Kevin Lynch sounds familiar, he’s the guy who sued Playwrights Horizons over its BIPOC Night discounted tickets.

Must be nice to throw around money on completely useless and baseless lawsuits willy nilly.

Lynch should try practicing the piano and writing better music instead of suing people who are actually good at their jobs.

Also, these opportunities have never been "who is the most talented objectively" ... it's "who could use a boost in their career as an under represented artist" and this man and all his talents clearly does not need that visibility boost. We all know who he is and are choosing to not work with him.
I'm just here so I don't get fined

The folks posting pictures of him for laughs / commenting on his physical appearance are being super gross. Also, don't focus on physical appearance if you want to insist someone is crazy for thinking you're judging them on physical appearance...

This sh!t pisses me off. It's not about you, Kevin -- it's a learning experience for communities that have a much tougher time getting their foot in the door, period. It's not like they're going to become the next MD for Wicked or have some amazing gig land in their lap. You want a job like that? Do better, if you're so talented.
As to the complaint reading, "a less-experienced female/nonbinary person of color won the gig, opening doors to multiple Manhattan jobs for her", who the hell are you to say that the supposed "less experienced" person wasn't the best candidate for the post? Not to mention, it's not about prior experience. (And yes, I know Kevin isn't here to answer, but it's obnoxious nonetheless.)
Also, I thumbs upped the post with his headshot solely based on the ridiculous fake serious look on his face. Not his weight or appearance.

This guy is really unbalanced.
All the musical abilities/skills he's been granted in excess are counter-balanced by his lack of cognitive and social skills.
Listen to the lyrics of his song, "Abstinence the Musical" (which I insist you leave this site to find, rather than me posting the video, here). The descriptor that (IMO) best fits is: CONFUSED.
EDIT: This guy is both unbalanced and CONFUSED.

Some basic googling would have informed Mr. Lynch that both the previous Music Director of Wicked (of almost a decade) and the one who just took over are white men…

Playwrights Horizons settled their lawsuit with Lynch, which was a mistake.
Wicked, on the other hand, has some of the deepest pockets in the industry. Let's hope they don't back down and turn this into a very expensive folly for him.

I hate cishet neurotypical gentile white Americans so damn much. They have to compensate for their inherent lack of talent by either stealing from oppressed peoples or just yelling about "affirmative action".
