1 ticket for John Gabriel Borkman (at BAM) Friday the 7th
 Jan 5 2011, 11:13:41 AM
I have a ticket for John Gabriel Borkman, row A, seat 5 (front row, side) at BAM for 7:30 on Friday the 7th. I'm a big baby and am afraid to drive in the snow from upstate. Face value is $65 and I'd be really happy to get as close to that as I can (I think with fees it was closer to $70). PM me if you are interested; I can meet in Manhattan tomorrow.

Does anyone know the runtime for this? Thanks!
Chewing gum in the theatre
 Aug 6 2010, 12:03:38 PM
I absolutely HATE the gum smacking noises, but just wanted to throw out there that I chew gum during performances - but quietly. My throat gets really dry and I'd rather quietly roll gum around in my mouth than start coughing.

Lucille Lortel Theatre - Stage door?

Does anyone know the location of the Lucille Lortel Theatre's stage door? I didn't find any information in the archvies or by Googling, so I just thought I'd see if anyone here knew anything about it. Thanks in advance!
American Idiot or Rock of Ages?
 Apr 5 2010, 08:18:54 PM
As others have said, American Idiot is really only for big Green Day fans. I've seen both and liked Rock of Ages *SO* much more. It's goofy fun, but it doesn't try to be more than that.
re: 9 to 5 is on TDF

RE: TDF seats...are you talking about for 9 to 5 (which hasn't been on TDF before) or in general? I've really had seats all over the place with TDF, but usually wind up with mid-mez if I take a friend with me. I've had some side orchestra seats as well. I used TDF for the three Norman Conquests show and had super close seats for the first two, then last row for the third. I guess it depends on how well the show has sold.

Thank you for the info hubee...I am hoping to try rushing Our Town on Sunday evening and wasn't sure what time to turn up. Guess it's worth a try :)
but you can call me 'has trouble taking his pants off' Berger

I was in the spare change seat last night; I was at the stage door with a friend after and Steel told me that the money gets donated, but he didn't know where because Will's in charge. :)

I tried so hard to think of something clever, but couldn't come up with anything original. So $20 it was. :cp

re: Seeing Shows By Yourself
 Jul 22 2009, 05:27:37 PM
Like most of the other people posting, I don't mind seeing shows by myself; I feel like I can get a better seat and it really takes away from the enjoyment of the show if the person I've convinced to come with me is not enjoying themselves. I'll invite friends to shows I think they'll like and just go alone to the ones I'm not sure others would like.

RE: the down time between a matinee and evening performance? I've been killing time running over to one of the movie theaters on 42nd.

Ok, ok...I finally registered and have a stupid newbie first post. This might be covered somewhere in this thread, but over 80 pages to go through...

Does anyone know how much postage should go on an envelope with a playbill in it?

If you want more than one cast member to sign it, do you keep sending it back and forth to different people or do you address it to someone else at the theater?
