Does anyone know if it was the same owners from pre-pandemic/shutdown when it reopened and was remodeled? I ask because I never saw Jay or any of the old staff.

Anyone rush this lately?  On a Saturday?  Looking to rush this tomorrow but I'm not sure how early I should line up.  It doesn't seem like it's a difficult show to rush, but I'm not sure how the holiday weekend will effect things.  Thank you in advance!

It's all good - it was in response to something I had said asking if anyone had the same experience I did where the usher who seated me and the others in my area didn't give Playbills.  I volunteered to get us some and when I tried to, she stopped me and said that another usher gives it out and she pointed to a different usher who was running around the mezzanine handing out Playbills to people already seated in various sections.  Never saw that before.

I've entered for every performance since it was listed on Lucky Seat, sometimes for one seat and sometimes for two.  No luck, but I haven't won anything on Lucky Seat since Jujamcyn switched to their lottery service rather than running it in-house.  Hope we have better luck in the future. 

No, I pay $150+ to hear the actors on stage sing, not the people in the audience.  I get WHY people may be moved to sing but I don't like it.  It's distracting regardless of the show or the audience demographic.  I'm not white.  I don't ever tell the person not to sing though because I don't like causing an even bigger distraction and I just pray someone else will say something or the usher will. Not sure if Beetlejuice is offering the same exact lotto seats that they did for the School of Rock, but my seats in October were a few rows in front of my Beetlejuice ones so they were slightly better.  Not sure if entering for a pair for SOR vs a single ticket for Beetlejuice made a difference.  Both times I purc

Out of curiosity, what address did you email when you told them you weren't a bot?  I found that Lucky Seat does not respond to emails at all, unlike when Jujamcyn ran their own lotteries and would respond within minutes (anytime of day) via email and/or Twitter. 

I know it's random, but I've never won once Jujamcyn started using Lucky Seat rather than its own lottery service.  I saw The Crucible, Falsettos, Jersey Boys, Groundhog Day and Something Rotten! via lottery (some more than once) before it switched.  I've entered for Frozen, Mean Girls and Springsteen every day since those lotteries opened but no luck.  Hopefully one day though.  Good luck!

Not sure if things have changed, but I won in February and the seats were great.  Orchestra right, aisle, unobstructed view about halfway down.  I purchased my tickets within a minute and a half of the winner email being sent out if that means anything.

I think that's awesome that your parents support your love of the arts.  Like someone else suggested, try to treat your dad to the show.  Just make sure it works for his schedule before entering for two tickets and let him know ahead of time that it's your treat.  It seems like the easiest solution for now and maybe going to even more shows with you will show him that this is a real passion of yours and you're comfortable walking around in the city and going from Pe
