Does anybody know if the Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival ever sells tickets through TDF?

I saw The Kite Runner yesterday at the matinee performance. Please don't let the negative reviews dissuade you from seeing this beautiful production. The plot, indeed, was heavily narrated by the main protagonist, but despite that, I was heavily invested in the story the entire time and was pulled in immediately through the superb talent of this entire cast. I just saw Julie Benko perform in today's matinee. Her performance was thrilling! In my opinion, she has a charisma on stage that is truly exceptional! It was so much fun to watch an understudy perform who is obviously going to be a big star one day! I would love to see her again.

There is one aspect to the surprise ending that confuses me. Perhaps some of you can help clarify this. This moment happens with very little explanation.I think for the ending to work, this moment needs to be more thoroughly developed. I would love to hear your thoughts.

I saw Girl From the North Country last night for the first time. I've been letting the play stew in my mind overnight and this morning, and I'm sorry to say that I can not feel any appreciation for this piece. WEST SIDE STORY 'S Playbill cover was up on Playbill's website, but has since been taken down. (It's in the vintage, "Rudin" style.) It seems that Scott Rudin doesn't allow for Playbill covers to be made public until the night of first previews.

I think this relationship between Broadway and Hollywood is worth examining. In the old days, Hollywood got most of its source material from Broadway. Nowadays, the trend has reversed as most Broadway productions originate in Hollywood and get adapted for the stage afterwards.I'm generalizing of course, but perhaps transferring a stage play to film does not affect its quality as much as taking a cinematic story and adapting it to the stage.
