It's that time again, folks...
Here is the first Playbill Cover of the 2017-2018 season. Glad to see we're starting off colorfully

The camera is the perfect touch to the cover.

I wonder what the Lincoln Center Theatre artist (his name is eluding me) will create for My Fair Lady. His Playbill cover for The Light in the Piazza is one of my all-time favorites.
^ I love James McMullan! I wonder if he did something for OSLO...

WayTooBroadway, I'm pretty sure he didn't bc they used the b/w photo with the tiny bit of color on the dome for both productions.

It feels a little like the recent The Color Purple Playbill... but with a flamingo. I don't hate it. Credit for at least capturing some expressions that maybe give some idea of what the play is about (??) instead of what just looks like transposed headshots.
Oh, Roundabout...will you ever go back to colored Playbills?
Boring. As usual for Roundabout Playbills.
Were they ever even in color? Not as far as I can remember...

Have they released the new Betsy Wolfe Waitress cover yet?
Waitress has a new cover with Betsy on it

That new Waitress cover is gosh darned adorable. Her hands are a little weird but I don't think there's a graceful way to hold the pie tin like that. But does that mean they've switched back to black and white?

Anastasia has gone b/w already and Bandstand changed their playbill. I can't figure out to attach it here.

I'm pretty sure I also saw that Play That Goes Wrong also went black and white.

It is a little odd. If the pie is supposed to be hot from the oven as the added steam implies, why is she holding it from the bottom at all? Does anyone pull out pies from the oven with their bare hands?

Fixed.
The oven mittens edit is on point :P Thank you JakeTheEscapologist.
Also, echoing 1086sunset, I love the new Bandstand cover as well. I think it fits the feeling of the show a little better. I saw the show in June, and look forward to going again soon!
