Lupone is not by any means a comedic actress. She is definitely a dramatic actress and a damn good one at that. She was miscast in Noises Off in my opinion. I personally think if she played Dolly like she played 'You'll Never Get Away From Me' in GYPSY then she'd be fantastic, and I think she's a smart enough artist to know that herself.
