hi. i can't remember the name of it, but there is software you can purchase which will transpose sheet music. not as convenient as a website, but it might be of some help.

thanks. if you can, let me know what you think of the show. is it in previews already? i thought it wasn't opening til october? i did check out the website for wicked and you were right- no such character as dorothy listed.

i'm looking for a choreographer who can assist me in nailing down all the very specific physical movements/mannerisms in several judy garland songs for my one-woman show at the ars nova theatre. any suggestions of people would be appreciated. note: they need not be "dance" type choreographers, but they should definitely have a THOROUGH knowledge of the specific style of her singing mannerisms/movement. the show is currently in rehearsal and opens on july 10th 2003.

I just bought the book "Wicked" and have not gotten to it yet, but if you want an incredible read that is "WIZ-CENTRIC" get a copy of Geoff Ryman's novel "WAS." It is amazing... three parallel stories at once... the life of a historical (yet fictional) young girl named Dorothy Gale in late 19th century Kansas who is big-boned, ugly and awkward, who is tormented by her classmates and her Uncle Henry. does anyone know if the "dorothy" character exists in the broadway production of "wicked?" and if so... i assume the role is already cast?
