Did rush today (Saturday). Got to the box office a 9:20-9:25ish and we were the 9th party in line. Wanted matinee tickets and we were offered $43 partial, $59 mezz and $79 orchestra. We went with the mezz tickets and got row C, seats 21 and 23. We were the third and fourth sears from the side aisle, so we missed very occasional things that happened stage left, but they were great seats, very close and easy to see faces. Great value overall and loved the show.

Saw Moulin Rouge tonight and in terms of the principals:
Natalie out, Ashley Loren in for Satine
Robyn out, Karli Dinardo in for Nini
There were also understudies in for La Chocolat and Pierre. Not sure exactly how many swings were on tonight.
I was supposed to see MR on Saturday but it was cancelled. MR was the main show I wanted to see coming to NYC, so I was super bummed when it was cancelled, but noticed was able to scoop decent seats in the bal

Just got an email saying the Moulin Rouge matinee today was canceled. I was worried going into my trip, but was trying to be hopeful. Didn’t help I got an email about an hour ago talking about admission/vaccine details for today’s performance, which gave me a little hope. Oh well. I have Wicked on Tuesday and this is also my first trip to NYC so I’m just trying to enjoy being here.
