Wicked cancelling tonight's performance for COVID. If they are down tonight it will more than likely be the weekend and in to the week. OMG>

I that’s just a way to save face and not have to cancel two performances outright. We’ll see who is right tomorrow, though

Multiple threads about something affecting us all to some degree are fine.
Vague subject lines are not.

But that is NOT the protocol. If you want to post about the protocols, it behooves you to learn what they are. The additional cancellations are about staffing, not protocol.

Hogan, I’ve noticed that you love to tell people that they are incorrect without providing the actual correct information. So please, what exactly is the protocol that the poster is seemingly wrong about?
You say that the additions cancelled shows are due to staffing, not protocol. Could the staffing issues be…because of the Covid cases, resulting in temporary quarantining (aka protocal&hellip
, which leads to staffing issues…no matter what way you slice it, it comes down to protocal. I’m confused as to what you are shooting down.

The protocol is that anyone who tests positive must self-isolate until cleared. No performances have to be cancelled unless there is insufficient coverage for anyone isolating. In this case, Wicked had to cancel because they did not have sufficient coverage (apparently because there were people with pre-planned time off). Troynow said "As I said! Additional shows now cancelled. Because that is the protocol." But that is not the protocol. The additional shows were cancelled because they did not have sufficient coverage. Troynow had no basis for saying what they said.
I hope that's clear now. I would have explained more but I honestly thought it was clear.

Is Jeremy billed over the title? I’m hoping it’s not him as I finally have tickets for Wednesday.

Doubtfire performances cancelled today.
Really starting to wonder how Broadway stays open through the winter. This is becoming a daily occurrence.

What does that even mean? Jeremy is brilliant in the part and if you didn't want to see him you should have waited until Conrad takes over.

I think they are hoping, if Jeremy is the cast member exposed to Covid, that him being above the title allows them to get a refund or exchange.

I read it simply as hoping he isn't the positive case.

I thought all tickets are refundable up to 48 hours before curtain?

Wick, that likely wouldn’t help Alexander Lamar. They probably wouldn’t know Jeremy would be out of the show until they got to the performance on Wednesday. That sounds like that shouldn’t be an issue though according to BroadwayRox.
