There's no seating upstairs they've converted it to be part of the set

Not a bad seat in the house, but because the actors are sitting around a round table, you won't be able to see some actors as well as others

They do walk on the turntables quite a bit in the second act but I wouldn't say 'entire'. I felt like it was an appropriate usage

I don't think it was Michael Chorney, this man was bald. I figured it mightve been an Anais song, my friend who likes folk music wasnt familiar with it. They also handed out (fake) red flowers on your way out

What would you like to know? It was a pretty incredible production, and the audience was basically applauding non stop, from beginning to end. Lots and lots of changes since I saw it at NYTW and i think they really managed to deepen the show. Patrick Page, André de Shields and Amber Grey had the audience eating out of their hand, Eva was incredible strong and Reeve was satisfactory. Anais came out with a man I didn’t quite recognize, might’ve been the music director , and led some folk song that nobody recognized. That was it haha. Cute but not quite worth the cold

Any reports on the current bway cast?I saw the show in NY two weeks ago and thought it was in great shape. I haven't revisited since seeing the OBC, and I was really impressed by Michael Luwoye, Denee Benton, Carvens Lissaint, who all were as good--and at times better--than the OBC. Denee Benton was really spectacular, and I'm so glad I was able to see her, especially since I've heard lackluster things about her predecessor. This really took me by surprise and ended up being one of my favorite shows of 2018. The music and choreography were so perfectly incorporated and so incredibly moving. I loved the cast of characters and the friendship between Anthony and Pharus, in particular, bowled me over. It was also such a pleasure to see so many black people in the audience, since I'm so used to being one of the few POC in the room, and I'm pretty sure I actually spotted Tarrell McCraney himself in the audience last ni...

Got tix for Once on this Island for $40 w/fees! I thought prices for Broadway musicals were standardized? Won't look a gift horse in the mouth though :)

Ordinary Days and Rags Parkland Sings the Songs of the Future were both great, but both on the simpler side-- no ornate sets, costumes, etc. Black Light has fabulous costumes and a charismatic storyteller, but I hesitate to call it a true musical in that the songs don't advance the plot. I've heard great things about the Yiddish production of Fiddler. Oklahoma is fabulous but I believe the run is sold out.
