Company is not one of my favorite shows but Neil Patrick Harris makes it worth watching. He really has a great voice.

IF/THEN opening in DC tonight

I saw it opening night. I really really wanted to like this show and so did the audience. You could feel everyone's anticipation and as soon as Idina came out there was spontaneous applause (which seemed to throw her off a little). Unfortunately, what a lot of other people are saying is true - it was really hard to follow. I felt very distracted trying to figure out what timeline she was in. As far as music, there were a few good numbers and one really fabulous one toward the end of the seco

I also loved this show and actually saw it twice. I was surprised by some of the reviews. It was as if some reviewers didn't actually see the same show or maybe saw the first few minutes and then left. The reality is that it is a show that sticks with you long after the lights go down. Also agree that Kevin McAllister has a great future on Broadway. Spectacular voice and presence.

'Parade' review at Ford's Theatre

I agree with this review. I saw Parade at invited dress rehearsal and it was a very moving experience. There are not many shows where you can become so emotionally invested in the characters, despite knowing the inevitable outcome. Kudos to everyone involved in this production.

Jason Robert Brown's Parade starring Euan Morton in D.C.

I went to invited dress rehearsal. I have never seen the show so my response to it may not have the weight that other more savvy members responses might have. To answer a posted question this production has character doubling (and sometimes tripling). They were, of course, still working on sound, lighting and other issues. That being said, the acting was so good that issues aside, I was caught up in the story right from the beginning. Euan is spot on in his portrayal of Leo. The love story
