I am only going to talk about the musical nominations, because I didn't see that many plays this year, other than Barefoot in the Park. BEST MUSICAL Should Win: Jersey Boys Will Win: Jersey Boys or Drowsy Chaperone I have never seen the audience react to a show the way Jersey Boys it does to this show. Defying Gravity in Wicked The first appearance of the Phantom in "Phantom" and the final scene Can't Help Falling in Love at the end of Act 1 of All Shook Up (so wonderfully and powerfully sung, made my hair stand up on end). The finale scene in Rent (not only did it make me cry, but the showing of Mark's film and then the final appearance of Angel with the rest of the cast was just cool)
