I will be moving to New York soon to persue my performance career, and I was wondering if you could give me any advice on how much money to save before I go, how and what kind of living arrangements to make, and training and classes. Also, I've been to Ellen's many times, and have asked how to get a job there, and they told me just to come in and sing. I know how much it costs to live there, and I know how much servers make here and Dallas, and its scary... but

hey im going to be moving to nyc pretty soon to persue a career, ans i really want to work at ellens stardust diner. i was wondering if anyone knows about how much they make there. i noticed the big tip jar, and its always crowded...thatnks for your help. also, if anyone has any advice on how much money i should have saved before i move, and about living arrangements, and musical theater classes and training, etc. i would really appreciate the help!
