Does anyone know whether this is a limited or open-ended run?

My coworker who’s there tonight just texted me that Patti is out. He said Anisha is “very believable” as Joanne.

I can’t disagree with that. I probably overstated when I said the 1961 version paled in comparison. Each movie is brilliant in its own way. I prefer the 2021 version largely because the characters were given backstories, which made their inevitable fates al

The 1961 is irreplaceable as it’s the only record of Jerome Robbins and Peter Gennaro’s original choreography, plus the original scenic design a

How close is too close?

I’m 5’1 and didn’t have any problems sitting in the second row. It was great to see the facial expressions up close.

Anyone who says otherwise is just lying to themselves. And the direction is way too busy and detracts from the core of the show. It's a fun night of theatre but it doesn't hit like Company should. "

Sounds like you’re lying to yourself because you can’t acc

I’m no critic, but my experience of her performance was completely different, and I’m not the only one. Whether she’s miscast is a matter of opinion, not a fact.

I didn’t see the comment and I’m not sure I want to know. Whatever is going on with Patti, even if it’s minor, my heart goes out to her.

I'm particularly partial to Being Alive, one of the most beautiful songs in the canon if you ask me, and I thought she nailed it, transitioning from weeping to a crystal clear closing belt.

i DO understand thinking she is miscast given that she doesnt exude warmth/charm. i disagree-- and as I noted above, i dont think Esparza hardly came of

Am I the only one who didn’t have a problem with Lenk’s singing? She’s not a vocal powerhouse, but I thought she sang the score very nicely. The only issue I noticed was her weird accent during Marry Me a Little.

Wow, I hope Patti is okay. I feel for Anisha; it can’t be easy to perform when you know most of the audience is disappointed. Hopefully she’ll win them over. What a week.

Katrina’s voice is unique and clearly not everyone’s cup of tea, but to say she can’t sing the score is inaccurate. However, whether she can sing it consistently 8 times a week remains to be seen. Personally I’m rooting for her and the production as a whole. As people have pointed out it’s not without its flaws, but I think it’s something very special This is first time I’ve felt a connection with Bobby/Bobbie. I understand “Being Alive&rdq

She was just...bad. I'm not really certain it's her fault because she's just so unbelievably miscast in this role. Vocally, she couldn't handle it at all, and the acting was perhaps even worse. She was stiff, ice cold, lacked any humor, and had zero character arc. I'

I was at tonight’s show. Katrina Lenk is magnificent. I saw it last year and thought she was very good, but there was room for improvement. Any doubts I had about Lena’s performance have vanished. Her acting and vocals are now impeccable.

Patti is spectacular as always. Her performance is a master class. Jennifer Simard and Christopher Fitzgerald steal every scene they’re in, and Manu Narayan is a great addition to the cast.
