The 2022 / 2023 season at Toronto Mirvish seems to be a starting point to Broadway. I'm not saying the shows originated here in Toronto but were a stepping stone to broadway. I guess it's easier to drive to TO then to fly to Scotland. I'm say 3 broadway shows playing or coming up were here .1) & juliet , we know that was moving to NY2) Room 3) The Shark is Broken one of these shows I believed replaced Leopoldstadt that skip TO to go to Broadway .
