Don’t Call It Broadway If You’re Paying Tour Wages Apr 21 2026, 07:16:04 AM
TheatreFan4 said: "The Distinctive Baritone said: "I love how this guy continues to try to be the self-appointed moral compass of the theater industry. It's so obnoxious. Anyway, it is not that unusual for tours to make a "stop" on Broadway, and given the horrific economics of New York commercial theater, if this is the only viable option in some cases, I don't see a problem with that. I don't see anyone complaining about non-profit theaters like Rounda

Anyone know is Maybe Happy Ending has Playbills or not?"
MHE has Playbills for $100, posters for $200 (I might be misremembering the price), and signed prop magazines covers for $200 (the issue featuring Louis Armstrong) or $350 (Gil Bentley). They're even "signed" by Hwaboon!"
It is also important to use reliable payment methods to keep everything safe and avoid additional fees. I am looking for such on online roulette zonder registratie convenient because everything is collected in one place. Happy shopping!
Yes! Maybe Happy Ending has Playbills for $100, posters around $200, and signed prop magazine covers (Louis Armstrong $200, Gil Bentley $350) even “signed” by Hwaboon!

A Casino in Times Square? No! Feb 23 2026, 05:31:20 AM

The initial $500 million licensing fee from each of the three casino winners will go to the MTA to help fund transit upgrades. Ongoing gaming tax revenue will also be shared with the MTA to support its operations. So everybody mark your calendars for the transportation system to provide a clean, safe and fast ride since the MTA will get 1.5 B on top of the congestion pricing revenue. https://www.nytimes.com/2025/12/01/nyregion/nyc-casino-license.html?unlocked_article_code=1.5U8.hqsS.JlFFXLe6tj0-&smid=url-share

I play occasionally myself, so I know a little bit about it. I often look for games on https://ausscasinosanalyzer.com/au/casino-bonuses/levelupcasino.com and often get a bonus. A great resource for those who want to play right at home from their phone or computer. https://www.nytimes.com/2025/12/01/nyregion/nyc-casino-license.html?unlocked_article_code=1.5U8.hqsS.JlFFXLe6tj0-&smid=url-share
That funding boost sounds promising, but I’ll believe cleaner, safer, faster transit when riders actually see consistent improvements systemwide!

Worth it to get a TDF Membership for a few weeks? Sep 1 2025, 09:45:29 AM
If your TDF membership gives you decent discounts or special access, $40 is worth it, especially for the convenience of booking in advance. I'd take it just for the ease of logistics and win something you'd otherwise miss out on. By the way, I came across an interesting offer energy casino: 50 free spins it’s a proven resource with a lot of games. Lotteries are fun and smart if you’ve seen the main shows. Good luck with buying something exciting for June!

Starring actor's pay ? Mar 12 2025, 08:07:43 AM
thedrybandit said: "No, that number is low. I forget what the current Equity minimum for a Broadway salary is, but as of 2018 it was $2,034 a week. I believe now it's closer to $2,200. There are exceptions for non profits and the like, and actors are often able to negotiate higher depending on their credits, if they're a dance captain, etc."
I think it’s around $2,200 now too. Plus, big names or leads can negotiate way more, right?

Broadway Vocal Selections books - a thing of the past? Sep 5 2024, 10:07:18 AM
I also enjoy playing through the vocal selections, and it frustrates me that they are becoming harder to find. Everything seems to be going digital, but there's something special about having physical books close at hand. Speaking of going online, I've also started to rely more on digital tools for various writing tasks https://edubirdie.com/edit-my-paper like this site I found to have someone help me edit my work. It became a salvation. But yes, I miss those collections too. Hope they come back soon!

High School Musical Blues! Aug 27 2024, 06:22:41 AM
GavestonPS said: "If you can't handle the rejection youface in high school, you probably don't have the stuff to face the far greater rejection you will face in professional theater.
High school directors have a lot to consider, not just who sings pretty well, but who has demonstrated their willingness to put in the work, and who can be relied upon to "carry" a show when most of the cast are amateurs with a lot of conflicting interests and responsibilities. (YOU may know what a hard worker you are, but your director may not have seen it yet.) Some high school directors have commercial-like pressures, including making enough money on each show to pay for the next one. They can't afford--or may feel they can't afford--to risk the entire program on unproven talent. Is this the way it should be? Probably not.
It even reminds me of how bad I used to be at homework because of the constant preparation. Friends even recommended it to me https://customwriting.com/assignments.html as they saw how tired I was. My grades did improve after using this resource, but it didn't help me get the role.
I'm sorry you didn't get the opportunities and training you wanted, but you have your whole life to make up for that. High school won't be the last "dry period" you will face."
Rejection builds resilience—keep pushing forward.

Best book writer for bio-musicals Jun 24 2023, 07:32:48 PM
I like Lynn Nottage. She is an example for me. And in general, the genre of bio-musicals and biographies is fascinating. I know this well because I work for the site https://penfellow.com/biography-writing/ and write various biographies and memoirs for those without writing skills or who cannot structure ideas. I am glad that my biography writing helps beginners in this genre, where you can find incredible success stories that motivate you.
