The spring 2025 Red Bucket collection period is here. Has anyone seen what shows are participating and selling items for BCEFA thus far?

Asking for a friend (truly)... any info/prices on Wicked merch for Broadway Cares? I've googled to no avail. Thanks!

I’ll be there in mid April. How long does this go on for? Hoping to catch it.

MHE has Playbills for $100, posters for $200 (I might be misremembering the price), and signed prop magazines covers for $200 (the issue featuring Louis Armstrong) or $350 (Gil Bentley). They're even "signed" by Hwaboon!

Death Becomes Her had playbills for $100 & posters for $300. Christopher Sieber joked that if you gave $100,000, you could play Ernest Menville in a show.

I’m not sure when they started collecting, but I was at Gypsy on Wednesday night and they had signed windowcards for $300 and playbills for $100. The show is too long for them to risk running over the three-hour mark with a BCEFA speech, so the three “Gimmick” performers quickly show signs that announce the collection drive and what they’re offering, plus some fun, thematic puns. That’s the first time I’ve ever seen the plea done this way.

Yes. I saw that too along with the addition of BOOP and GOOD NIGHT GOOD LUCK. I wonder if SMASH will participate too and if they will all end up offering anything.

GNGL had playbills for $500 but I didn’t buy because George’s signature was smudged on like all of them. (I was able to get this signature at stage door tho) They also had props from the show for I think $700

Does anyone know if they’re still doing the annual Easter bonnet competition? It’s not listed on the BCEFA website.

They are no longer doing the Easter Bonnet Competition. Just Gypsy of the Year in December. Instead, they are doing a smaller concert (Broadway Dream Roles).

Wow. That's a lot for the playbill. Did the whole cast sign it or just George? Too bad they are all damaged & smeared. Did they offer any posters?

Is Glengary selling posters? How long is the collection at theaters? When does it end?

They had autographed playbills ($100-$200?) and posters ($200-$300?) - I can’t remember so not 100% sure about the price. They also auctioned off a business card holder (metal one) with prop business cards for each character which were signed by the actors. At yesterday’s show, they threw in a meet & greet as part of the auction to elevate the experience.

At Drag the musical tonight, they were offering signed playbills and posters, and for $2,000, the winning bidder gets to sit on stage and have Adam Pascal serenade them with One Song Glory. Sure enough, someone had $2K to spend tonight, and Adam sounded marvelous.

I was at a performance of STEPHEN SONDHEIM'S OLD FRIENDS last Friday and they were selling signed Playbills for $100 and signed souvenir programs for $200. Lea and Bernadette both sold their earrings off their ears for $500 each, plus Bernadette sold the bracelet she was wearing for $500. A stage manager came to collect their jewelry on stage while the actors were speaking.
I'm not sure how that works: the first person to present their credit card gets the item? Does a bidding war ensue in the lobby?
By the way - I didn't see any other poster answer the question: the collections for BCEFA end tomorrow (Sunday, April 27). I am very sad they no longer have the Easter Bonnet Competition. I can understand that if you were going to choose between the Easter Bonnet and the Red Bucket Follies (formerly titled the non-PC Gypsy of the Year), it would make sense to drop the Easter Bonnet. The spring is such a crazy time of year because it is awards season. Many shows open just in time for award eligibility and I don't think shows participate in the fundraising until after they've opened. It's a shame because some of the bonnets that were created over the years were truly works of art!

It is also important to use reliable payment methods to keep everything safe and avoid additional fees. I am looking for such on online roulette zonder registratie convenient because everything is collected in one place. Happy shopping!
