Hey all. I'll be in town for work for about most of June. I use to live in the city and had a TDF membership, but I've since moved out. Is it worth it to pay the $40 for the membership to book stuff for the next few weeks? Is there anything good on there? I've seen the majority of stuff on Broadway, so I'll likely do a lot of lotteries and just see what I get. But is it worth it for anything else?

Well that isn't really an easy question to answer. It depends on what shows release tickets to TDF and how many. Are you looking to see shows a second time or looking to see some Off-Broadway shows? If you are looking to see stuff you haven't seen, It may be worth it. You will have it for a year and can use it if you are back in town within the year.
It's a year subscription and it's absolutely worth it if you are seeing a bunch of shows and are flexible about when you see them during youe trip. I usually only go to NYC once a year and the number of shows I use TDF for varies depending on what I'm seeing but even one or two shows can save you over the $40 it costs for a year subscription. Last year, I got two Water For Elephants tickets that would have been $160 each on the website for $60 each on TDF just for example.
A lot of Broadway shows have been up lately. Regular ones recently include Gypsy, Sunset, RWHC, Boop, Smash, & Juliet, Stranger Things, Cabaret, Dead Outlaw, Floyd Collins, Moulin Rouge, Hadestown, Hell's Kitchen and The Last Five Years.
Pretty interested in all of these so maybe worth it: Gypsy, Sunset, RWHC, Boop, Smash, & Juliet, Stranger Things, Cabaret, Dead Outlaw, Floyd Collins, Moulin Rouge, Hadestown, Hell's Kitchen and The Last Five Years.
Purchasing even just one ticket a year using TDF pays for the membership with the savings.
