"Wasn't he involved in the readings or run-throughs or whatever that Raul and Orfeh were involved in?" Orfeh was involved with RENT readings? Does anyone know anything more about this?

I would HIGHLY recommend Altar Boyz--it's one of my favorite cast recordings.

Now that most of you have seen the movie, I'm curious to hear your advice for my RENT dilemma. I have never seen RENT on Broadway, and now I need to choose between my initial RENT experience consisting of seeing the movie or seeing the current stage production. I am only asking because I have heard that the current broadway cast is not that good, and the movie will obviously give me the opportunity to see most of the originals.
