At Speed the Plow starring Madonna, Meryl Streep sat in the row behind me and Oprah was 4 rows in front. At the Chicago revival original cast, Vice President Al Gore was sitting in the orchestra. Joan Rivers sat in the row behind me at Pippin. I told her I was a “Joan Ranger” and she was so excited. She asked if I wanted a pic and I got a great pic with her after the show. Kirk Douglas at the revival of Ragtime. Lots of people talked to him at intermission, so I went over and shook his hand. ...

Finally got through and got the date I wanted.

Tried again and got an error that their servers are down. Im trying to buy for a specific date, so not sure what the demand will be.

I’m having the same issue. I tried several different credit cards and getting that same spin. Very frustrating.

That was wonderful last night. Dollypop asked about seeing him in a straight role - A couple of years ago, he played Hamlet here in DC. He was terrific! I also saw him a few years ago in The Government Inspector odff Broadway, and he was great in that too. A truly gifted actor. Bravo!

FYI - Caught Wesley Taylor's solo cabaret show at Signature Theater in Virginia on Saturday. He was terrific! His final song was "Not Getting Married Today". He dedicated it to his fiance.

Singer/songwriter Jill Sobule also adapted Yentl as a musical. It played here in DC a few years ago. I was thinking maybe Camile Claudel is the French female sculptor? Could they be bringing back the one that Linda Eder did many years ago? I saw it and like it a lot.

I saw part one last night. Seeing part two tonight. I found it riveting. Minimal set, great actors. Andrew Burnap is terrific in the lead. They are transferring to the Noel Coward theater in the West End in the fall.

I live in DC. Just about every Arena Stage show will discount on Goldstar. I’ve seen many shows there using that service.
