How Bad Will the Kennedy Center Honors Be

And will they ever recover.

i did not always agree with every honoree, but there was never a question as to their inherent integrity.  I shudder to think of who the nominees are likely to be.  Moreover, I wonder if any of the honorees would ever have been honored, but for their conservative views.  Admittedly, I will have to see the list first.

 

Will there be any honorees who just happen to be ‘diverse’ or ‘out’?  Will the list be an embarrassment or decent?  Will any of the honorees refuse it (presumably b cause they sneaked through)?

It's beyond depressing. I love the KC Honors and the ceremony always makes me feel truly patriotic each year. Now we'll probably get Dean Cain and Rob Schneider as honorees and the whole thing will lose its value.

The broadcast should be extra spooky/boot-licking since the usual broadcaster CBS/Paramount just kissed Trump's ring to get their merger through. I doubt many MAGA viewers will watch but clips will be streamed on all the platforms. Probably the majority of people who will tune in will be gawkers and hate watchers which should generate more toxic reactions and Satan in hell will be pleased.

The list of gifted artists is so long who haven't received a KC honor.  Tomorrow's announcement will be interesting.
