I was quoting Mr. Shaiman with the word unfactual. I should have put it in quotes. As for your other comments, you're missing the point. And Orfeh.com, mamamiasammy? Who's got the time?!Don't you all see how childish and ridiculous this board is? Look at how these discussions spin out of control. Shaiman, I'm just emailing you next time. Have fun with your teenage fans.Paul

Fine. Just avoid words like "infactual" when describing my site. At what point the McKean deal was at when the story went up is up for a lot of discussion, but it's pointless. I had a solid source and it wound up being true. And the original story did NOT say anything untrue. Sure we could have written two or three other stories about people in talks for the role, but I knew McKean was your man.Broadway.com adheres to and spreads the love of theater 100% of the time. Writing an excited, factu...

Marc,Can you please document, say, five unfactual reports from Broadway.com in the last month that you've had to clarify on here? Unfactual is the key word.McKean was in talks, Jack O'Brien meeting or not. So that one doesn't count.P.S. I'm allergic to group hugs with anonymous people!Paul

Hey.Putting my two cents in here. Huge Orfeh fan from "Fascinating Rhythm" days on... She's also been a lot of fun when I've hung out with her at parties. Anyway, BOJon, you should definitely check out her AC show. It's a lot of fun and she gets to sing a bunch of songs that she SHOULD be singing on Broadway. No "Evita," unfortunately. But maybe she'll get to do that one a little closer to home I agree--she'd be amazing.More info:http://www.broadway.com/template_1.asp?CI=33674&CT=49Paul

re: semi o/t Marian Seldes & Mona Lisa Smile/new Bye Bye Birdie Film

Hi Craig.First off, happy holidays."Tad Hamilton" is about a girl who enters a contest to meet a movie star, goes on a date with him and then has her life turned around when he shows up on her doorstep a while later wanting to REALLY date her, to the chagrin of her boyfriend. How is that a contemporizing of "Bye Bye Birdie"? Because it involves a regular girl who meets a star? Isn't that a bit of a stretch? :)Since it's directed by the guy who made the first "Legally Blonde," I have high hope...

Not trying to fight with you, "BwayTheatre11." Just want you to think twice before you make flip comments.

Broadwayguy2, I dare you to find another website that shows off Broadway stars in a better light. Imagine if the film industry was covered in the way that "fans" on these message boards would seem to like Broadway covered... Imagine if we never saw photos of Tom Cruise or Julia Roberts out and about... if we only had stills from their films or airbrushed headshots to go by... Kind of stale, no? The images on Broadway.com are professional event photographs that show what the stars of the stage...
