i can say that i have seen RENT the film many many times, probably upwards of 20. yes, it has its problems. but, columbus has taken what larson's vision stands for and put it on the big screen. there are detail issues (spoken dialogue, some innacuracies in the city, etc.), conceptual catastophies (cat scratch club being way to vegas, the whole santa fe sequence, the alexi darling scene, take me or leave me) and cuts that were unnecessary (goodbye love). that said, i think brining back the or
