Your first Broadway show?

The Me Nobody Knows, on a school trip. I think it was at the old Helen Hayes Theater.

Yes, of course because you weren’t the one who was abused and had a computer monitor smashed a good your head or had a stapler hurled in your direction.

You guys are BEYOND ridiculous. You pick and choose who you decide to cancel based on what fits your needs.

YOU SUCK!

Scott Rudin returns:

By and large, his shows aren't the open-and-close types we've seen a lot of the last few seasons. As I said, he keeps houses lit.

On the nytimes.com theater website today, an odd wording. Link from my blog, in case it's been fixed.

Can you get playbills form the box office?

Some people get Playbills from the box office and then claim to have lost their tickets, using the Playbills as "proof" of admittance in order to crash the second act. That's usually why some Broadway box offices don't give them out.
Nathan Lane Back in The Nance tonight.

Word from Lincoln Center is that Nathan Lane will perform tonight, 7/25.
While on the Subway ...

That's right. I guess on a subway in Times Square, I just jumped to a conclusion.

(don't ever jump on subways)

While on the Subway ...

That's true. Could just be the ad agency.
While on the Subway ...

..I saw this funny ad.

I guess Manhattan Mini Storage is Broadway aware. Nice.

Sound Familiar...?

Ron Perlman in A Few Good Men.

The Cassidy Brothers and Petula Clark in Blood Brothers.

re: What Happens to a Show...

The Music Box had a backstage fire during the run of "A Few Good Men". Several days of performances were cancelled. When they started up again, they played several performances without lighting, just using the normal house lights, slightly dimmed. After the backstage repairs were made, it went back to normal.
