I saw the show last night. There were nine of us in my group and we all agreed that the show was so enjoyable but definitely not ready for Broadway as of right now.

I was also there tonight and really liked it. Granted, it needs a lot of work. Minor tweaking/polishing but also larger work on the book. The score and staging were great -- different from Hedwig but definitely I'm already thinking that I can't wait for a cast album one day. First act needs to be tightened up. Some cliched characters and unnecessary scenes. I think all the actors were great but Samantha Ware (who is usually great) did not sell me on

Amen, NYCHAPPY. I adored Ben in DEH, but his version was horrendous. I caught the show opening night, and as expected, Groff was wonderful. His parents were sitting near me, and it was also fun to watch them watch him performing. And yes, I would LOVE to see Groff as Bobby in Company!
