re: Have you ever seen a Broadway performer on the Subway?

Oct 7, 2008 — 1:23:52 AM

Yes many Broadway performers use the Subway, I have seen Barrett Foa, Hugh Panero, Donna Lynn Chaplin, Euon Morton on the subway, about three months ago I ran into Lynn Redgrave on the subway No 1 train, on her way to the Lucille Lortel Theatre. Many theatrical performers use the public transportation to and from the theatre. It is more direct and faster than taking bus or a cab which is very expensive.

Nancy Dussault did tons of tv and was a regular on the New Dick Van Dyke Show for several years and Ted Knights TOO CLOSE FOR COMFORT which was a success and ran many years. still in syndicati

I saw Karen do Mamma Rose in Sundance, Utah and she blew everyone away in the audience. Her "Rose's Turn" was a tour de force. I hope she gets to do this again where more people can see what the role of Rose should be. Maryann

It opened with Penny Fuller as singing from APPLAUSE "Welcome to the Theatre" having played Eve Harrington in that production many years back, on Broadway, what a g
