No, but I read in an interview with Norm Lewis that when he gets on the subway, he's always covered in glitter from playing King Triton, and people look at him funny and make assumptions about where he works.

I saw Nicole Mangi (Agnes "Amanda") on the Subway after Gypsy's matinee, still in full make up.
I also saw Andrea Burns and Mandy Gonzalez of In The Heights
and Leigh Ann Larkin running into the subway after stage door

Yes. It was even someone I'd interviewed (just a survey) a few months earlier regarding public transport in that city. Coincidence number 2: She once played the mother of a former pen-pal of mine in a TV series.
(/Pointless post of today.)
EDIT:
No, it wasn't a "Broadway performer", but since the OP mentioned other cities and transport systems, I assume the question also extends to actors in general. Not too many Broadway stars around in Tokyo, for example ... (Yes, I'm a nitpicker.)

I saw Remy Zaken of SA on a subway to Grand Central once.
What was really funny was when she showed up on my Metro North train fifteen minutes later, lol.

Posted: 10/4/08 at 1:27pmI've never seen a Broadway star while on a Subway, but one time, I was riding a bus and this woman stepped right in front of it. The bus driver swore under his breath, and then announced, "The girl who wasn't watching where she was going wearing the see-through dress is Ivanka Trump." I thought he was kidding at first, but it was.

I once saw Susan Sarandon riding a bicycle in the Village.
So I guess my answer's no.

I once crossed the road at the same time as Alfred Molina. Except we were going in opposite directions and I didn't want to get run over, so that's as far as that anecdote goes.

If we're going to talk about celebrities walking down the street, I have a pretty stupid story...
The night I saw "The Little Mermaid," I left my purse at the theatre. I didn't realize it until I'd already finished stagedooring and was halfway back to the hotel. The next day, we came back to see if they still had the purse (amazingly, they did), and a matinee had recently ended. When I was walking back from the theatre with my purse, I saw Derrick Baskin (Jetsam) walking with a friend, and he waved and exclaimed, "She got an autograph from me last night!"
I guess I have memorable-looking hair?

Posted: 10/4/08 at 2:53pmI was on the subway gushing to my aunt right after I saw Spring Awakening, and I looked up and Skylar Astin was about two feet away. To make matters worse, we got off at the same point and walked in the same direction for awhile so it looked like I was following him. I tried to walk ahead of him to get away. It was uncomfortable.
