I have a front row mezz for Monday night, April 7, off to the far end of row A, which is a shorter row than B, for what that is worth. I paid $155, though, so I will just sit there before I sell it for much less... there are worse things in life than seeing Hedwig on consecutive Mondays.

Is there a poster available and, if so, is it the same as the promotional stuff they've had with the NPH closeup? If so, may need to sort out a silver marker before Monday. I just realized I have a signed Hedwig show poster from Jane Street, and a signed Hedwig movie poster, so looks like I collected signed Hedwig posters and I just never realized, so guess I need to add one more...

The real issue is whether you are ready to be auditioning. I know a lot of people who say they want to write books but aren't sure about getting an agent, or how to get published, etc., etc. But a lot of that is procrastination from the part you can control, which is writing the book. I've always thought the new ending is just the workprint that was originally abandoned and fixed up to be released again. So, whether there would have been different music or tighter editing seems like it is missing the point of it not being a finished product (despite it seemingly being sold as such now). Has Frank Oz ever said he considers that the real finished ending? I know he supports it being released, but was it considered done?

If you're not in Equity, you would have to look under Non Equity. Of course, by the time you build up enough credits to be auditioning for Broadway, you may have already gotten yourself into Equity at that point. Unless you're thinking of doing it soon, then nope, non equity.

I don't see how that reads as they expect him to be in the show tonight, more like they have no idea. If I asked Roundabout whether I would be able to see Alan if I came on May 7, then it would make sense to say they expect him to be playing the role that day. But not in the middle of a flu where they are deciding one ...

Interesting that the BWW headline is that they expect Alan back tonight, but on Twitter Roundabout says they won't know until after 6 p.m.

No tickets available online, just don't want to go all the way to midtown if all of the cheaper seats are still available... Then again, though... that picture.

Roundabout replied to my e-mail saying they have a cancellation line, but that any tickets would be full price. Something missing there, assuming a lot of people bailing on the seats that they wouldn't be offering... something to fill them up, no?

Damn, just read the site for the first time today at 1:55p that Alan is out of the matinee, as I totally would have gone to see Leeds. If Alan is out tonight, I might try again, which brings up the question... If Roundabout has a house emptying because Alan calls out, how would someone get a discounted/papered ticket to get in?
