I just saw "August: Osage County" last night, and I was blown away by the entire production--the cast, the acting, the direction, the script, etc. It is by far the BEST show on Broadway right now! So I got to thinking...who would you pick to replace the amazing talent that is currently in the show? Here are some of my ideas... Violet...ELAINE STRITCH (how fabulous would that be?) Mattie Fae...Mary Testa Ivy...Laura Benanti Barbara...I have a few ideas, but can't put a finger on any. Alright, ...

"Sunday in the Park with George" is stunning in a variety of ways and so much more rewarding than, say, "Wicked" or "RENT." If you want to see a stellar PERFORMANCE, go to see Lupone in "Gypsy," but to be honest, you'd be blown away by the performances in "Sunday..." as well!

I was there last night...it was something else. I'm a bit shocked that there have been so many technical mishaps. The scenery doesn't seem that complex. Oh well...Long Live Lupone!
