Do you think it's worth it to see the Fathom Events version? I've never been, am curious how well they're able to capture the scope/feel of the production?

"They really "portrayed a variety of emotions?" I've never heard of actors doing that before. Precisely in what were you immersed, by the way?" The actors and the audience all sit in a big circle of chairs together.

I saw the show on Saturday night. It was very moving and emotional. I thought the two actors, Allison Layman in particular, did a fantastic job and portrayed a variety of emotions, sometimes switching very quickly. The immersive style took a little while to get used to, but added to the overall production quite nicely. Definitely worth it to trek all the way downtown to see. The cafeteria was quite cold (though thank goodness it has air conditioning), I suggest bringing a sweater.

I know I'm in the minority here, but I was very entertained and pleased when I saw the show. Yes, subtlety was not in Vanessa Hudgens' vocabulary, but overall it was light and fun and the sets were STUNNING. Sad to see another one close so soon.
