Bummed. But hopefully will still be a wonderful afternoon.
She can probably pick up some more at the bodega around the corner.

Yeah, they usually carry all that weird shi+.
I wonder if Susan Sarandon is in the audience.
I'm a little concerned for her Drood supply.
Personally, I always give Drood when I am able. I like getting the free cookie and orange juice.
So sorry about the double post. The BWW app is acting funky. Show was serviceable . Had a stinking drunk next to me. And after intermission he also reeked of cigarettes. On to Heiress.
She's out tonight and tomorrow as well, according to Twitter.

I adore Ms. Rivera and so when I heard she was going to be starring in The Mystery of Edwin Drood, I bought tickets. Months later and 4 attempts to see the show, I still am yet to go. Each time, I arrive at the theater only to find that Ms. Rivera is out. I have been to the box office so many times, that they know me and have actually personally called me to exchange tickets when they realized I had tickets for a performance that Ms. Rivera was schedule to not perform. Its like some weird curse. They claim that she's been mostly performing and that I have just been unlucky.
Anyway, I am making my 5 attempt next Wednesday. I am so hoping that she'll be in.
I hate to tell you this then, ARTc, but Alison Cimmet posted on Twitter that she will in fact be on next Wednesday (the 5th) and also on the 6th. She posted this information about a month ago though, so I'm not sure why the box office wasn't aware that Chita has a planned absence that day.
They are right though, Chita does not have poor attendance, but I believe has been battling illness these past two weeks. The absence on the 5th has been scheduled for some time.
No one has a planned absence that I know of this weekend. Others may have better info than me.
I guess it depends on whether Stephanie and Chita were out last night because of illness and how sick they are.

Fingers crossed for those who are out of their shows due to illness. Unfortunately in addition to a particularly virulent strain of influenza this season there is also now a really nasty norovirus descending on the US, and NYC is being hit pretty hard by it. I had an actor out of rehearsal for three days this week with this bug.

Would anyone who sees the show this evening be willing to report on whether Chita was in or not? Thanks!
Hmmm. I ask because I'll be attending tomorrow's matinee. Anybody know anything about her absences/ what the weekend might hold...?

I've been on here too long. I misread the subject as "Chita is out of Blood." Feel much better now.
Chita was out last night and is out again for both shows today. I was told she will be back tomorrow night.
Edit: I'm just wondering what their plan is if Chita and Jessie Mueller are out on the same day? They share the same understudy (who is ostensibly the only understudy for these parts). With Chita ill, and Jessie Mueller with a vacation coming up for Carousel...I mean, I wonder what the back-up plan is.
Just a note on something someone said regarding refunds when Chita is out..... They are being great about it. Even if you bought it at tkts. They just tell you to walk back to the booth and they will refund you there. However.. the last few times she has been out the booth had been informed and they tell their customers before purchase. very nice.
