I just turned on Ace Of Cakes on Food Network and they were making a really epic cake for the Cry Baby premier party, and I've seen them do Hairspray and Avenue Q. Has anyone else seen these/have they done any others? I just thought it was cool!

Ugg, the one time I don't have the food network on at 2am! I hope they rerun it soon.

After that if he still doesn't understand why you were uncomfortable and are now infuriated, kick him again but this time with Jazz Hands!!! -KillerTofu
They repeat the shows all the time. I love him and he is so freakin' adorable. I just want to lick frosting off his....
"Whenever I get gloomy with the state of the world, I think about the arrivals gate at Heathrow Airport. General opinion's starting to make out that we live in a world of hatred and greed, but I don't see that. It seems to me that love is everywhere. Often it's not particularly dignified or newsworthy, but it's always there - fathers and sons, mothers and daughters, husbands and wives, boyfriends, girlfriends, old friends. When the planes hit the Twin Towers, as far as I know none of the phone calls from the people on board were messages of hate or revenge - they were all messages of love. If you look for it, I've got a sneaky feeling you'll find that love actually is all around."
I was watching. Ace of Cakes is my favorite show. I was going to start a thread last night about it but was too lazy! Did anyone see the Avenue Q cake they did for the opening night of the tour's stop in Boston?
"He found something that he wanted, had always wanted and always would want— not to be admired, as he had feared; not to be loved, as he had made himself believe; but to be necessary to people, to be indispensable."

He's a faker, and you've been taken in by his con. And in doing so, you are enabling him. He is doing more damage to aspergers than papa's words ever could. -Chane/Liverpool on me having asperger syndrome.
I flipped when I just randomly turned it on and Cry Baby was there. It was pretty sick, they got every character on it. Has anyone seen the Hairspray one?

"You have two kinds of shows on Broadway – revivals and the same kind of musicals over and over again, all spectacles. You get your tickets for The Lion King a year in advance, and essentially a family... pass on to their children the idea that that's what the theater is – a spectacular musical you see once a year, a stage version of a movie. It has nothing to do with theater at all. It has to do with seeing what is familiar.... I don't think the theatre will die per se, but it's never going to be what it was.... It's a tourist attraction." Stephen Sondheim
Darn I thought the post meant it would become a broadway show. I could imagine all the great dance numbers with people dancing in a human cake formation and the heartbreaking songs about not being able to finish a cake in time. Wow, i'm tired.
I was so excited when I saw the Avenue Q cake last night... unfortunately I only tuned in for the end of the show when the cake was already completed (I like to watch the process :P).
