As someone who had a vested interested in this show being on Broadway this year...yes, it won't be on b-way this year. There was a fight with White Christmas to book the Marquis and you see who won. The economics of the show require that it be in one of the larger b-way houses so you can't just book it into any old house. I wouldn't bet on "White Christmas" neccessarily booking the Marquis. I hear it is a battle between them and "Grinch" to book the Marquis with the Grinch having the upper hand because they've shown they can turn a profit in a short run.
